Katzin Residence tied for overall winner in the CT Net Zero Energy Challenge 2015 .

​

This house is efficient in material, layout and energy.  Using Superior Wall as both foundation and walls, with SIP's (structurally insulated Panels)  for the second floor walls and roof, this house has an extremely tight shell, requiring little heating, which is accomplished with a mini-split heat pump system.
